First Time Staying at the Cabin

June 28th through June 30th 2022

Alicia, you brought the girls out to stay in the cabin I built with Grandpa Carl for you guys for the first time this week. We stayed in it until Thursday afternoon and we had a pretty good time getting it cleaned up and setting up the inside together. 

I came out a little earlier and cut in a second window, and you brought the girls and Dyson out later in the day on Tuesday. It was a real treat to stay in it and not get wet even though it poured rain Tuesday night. I should say you guys didn't get wet. I walked back from the field in the rain coming back from doing my injection at uncle Chris's. Oh man was I soaked. Good thing the tarp is working since I was unable to finish the shingling. It will get done. 

I am glad we are able to enjoy it out there together. I know we enjoy road trips too, but I am unable to tolerate them right now. This will give us a place to go though more then just once a year.
 
It will give us something to do when the stress of life is so unbearable we just need to escape. I hope you appreciate it. I am putting a lot into it; a lot of what I don't have right now, and I am doing it for us. 

I love you so much.

Dear Alicia, I know that I said I was going to use this site to give you something to look at instead of social media to try and get rid of the social media blues that you get. A Small Interpretation of a Big Document

The Declaration of Independence was written because the people of the American Colonies were be oppressed by the tyrant King of Britain. This was a formal declaration notifying the world of Britain's wrong doing, and giving the colonies the power to govern themselves. It can be seen as a declaration of war against Britain, and the Revolutionary war did follow its signing.  In the declaration, the author's state that it is "the Right of the People" to change or dismantle a government that is destructive to their unalienable rights. They talk about how it is might seem easier or the people might become accustom to a governments destructive behavior, but when brought to light it isn't just the peoples' right to dismantle a destructive government, it is their duty. The Cow and the Chicken

  Dear Alicia, On a quaint little farm in the middle of nowhere was a cow name George. George was a longhorn who spent most of his day grazing the pasture and chewing his cud. The pasture was relatively safe, and the weather relatively stable where George lived. George didn't have a care in the world.
